HEATING/UTILITY BILLS

Sometimes a harsh winter and high utility bills can take a toll on limited income.  If you find that you are having difficulty paying heating bills and utility bills, you may be able to seek government aid.  This can often be done through the local Human Services agency or directions that are given through your utility company itself.  Some state applications are available online: http://www.liheap.ncat.org/admin.

TAX BENEFIT FOR DISABLED

A Social Security administrator recently informed us that individuals who receive Social Security Disability benefits generally receive a waiver for most or all of their property taxes. It’s often just a small savings, but for individuals on fixed income it can make a difference.

The Church has a three-step approach to developing leaders at all levels within the body of Christ for service.  The first step is to make available to everyone the basic principles of Godly leadership.  Once a month during the next year we will cover some of the fundamental principles dealing with service and leadership.

FEAST OF TABERNACLES

God's festivals celebrate the seven stages of His wonderful, all-encompassing plan so we can have faith in Him and rest assured that He knows what He is doing. He has thought out every detail to bring us-all who are willing-to repentance and give us eternal life.
By keeping His festivals we remain focused on what is important in our view of the future and our role in it. Each time we keep them we deepen our understanding of prophecies throughout the Bible that fill in the details of God's wonderful plan.
Members of the United Church of God, gather every year in dozens of locations around the world in obedience to God's command to observe the Feast of Tabernacles. In addition, they keep God's other annual festivals in their local congregations.
Visitors are always welcome.
